Physical fitness is a general concept defined in many ways by differing scientists. Here two major categories are considered: general fitness (a state of health and well-being), and specific fitness (a task-oriented definition based on the ability to perform specific aspects of sports or occupations). Physical fitness is generally achieved through correct nutrition, exercise, hygiene and rest.Regular exercise is a critical part of staying healthy. People who are active live longer and feel better. Exercise can help you maintain a healthy weight. It can delay or prevent diabetes, some cancers and heart problems.Most adults need at least 30 minutes of moderate physical activity at least five days per week. Examples include walking briskly, mowing the lawn, dancing, swimming for recreation or bicycling. Stretching and weight training can also strengthen your body and improve your fitness level

EXERCISE:
Regular physical exercise is good for our muscles and bones. It is advisable that you consult with a fitness expert or health provider before adopting any physical exercise program. Take care to apply movements and programs that require weight bearing and stretches. The bone is a living organ of the body and bearing weights and working trains the bone to grow strong.
Rope Skipping, aerobics, weight- lifting and jogging are some recommended exercises for strong bones.
EAT HEALTHY:
You want to maximize bone mass by eating calcium rich foods. This is beneficial even during teenage. Also be careful that your food is rich in 
minerals and vitamins. Some of these help your body to apply the calcium from your food and allow you maximum benefit. It would be of no use taking calcium rich food and you body is unable to apply them. Food like green leafy vegetables, skimmed milk, fish, sesame seed and fruits are rich in minerals and vitamins.

TAKE ALCOHOL SENSIBLY:
Over indulgence in alcohol intake may affect your appetite and your bodies’ use of nutrients. It is important to know that our bones are living organs that require bone friendly nutrients for sustenance. Excessive alcohol will task your system and bones.
