ULTRAVIST AND ITS USE
There are many ideas to detect the different types of disorder in the Urinary tract Like hydronephrosis, Renal stone,Ultrafiltration dysfunction and other different problrms.One of the advance method is IVP/IVU Which use the ultravist intravenously for radiological detection.It is also known as Iopromide innectio Iopromide is a triiodinated, non-ionic, water-soluble X-ray contrast medium. ULTRAVIST solution for injection/infusion is a clear, colourless to pale yellow solution, free of particles and has a pH of 6.5 - 8.0. It contains no antimicrobial preservatives. ULTRAVIST also contains small amounts of trometamol, sodium calcium edetate and dilute hydrochloric acid (10%) in water for injections .
Iopromide is a molecule used as a contrast medium. It is marketed under the name Ultravist which is produced by Bayer Healthcare. It is a low osmolar, non-ionic contrast agent for intravascular use.
It is commonly used in radiographic studies such as intravenous urograms, brain computer tomography (CT) and CT pulmonary angiograms and so on.
